This has been a weird week for me. I decided to leave my job after a corporate takeover had some unacceptable demands in their new employee contracts. I am so sad for the old company that I leave behind, and though I know there is a lot to look forward to in the upcoming months and years ahead, I must confess that I have had a fair amount of wine this week while lamenting with online colleagues.
In that vein, I am currently . . . .
-applying to a ton of jobs. The job hunt process sucks. It really sucks.
-finally starting Bridgerton now that I have some free time.
-devouring Hi-Chews. If you haven't tasted this addictive Japanese candy, you are missing out.
-lusting over this pajama company. Not an affiliate link or anything, just needed to gush over those pretty prints.
-obsessed with this article from Marie Claire about a North Korean woman who defected to South Korea and became a celebrity sensation -- before abruptly disappearing and returning to the Hermit Kingdom.
