I don't even know if this should be categorized as a "recipe," but it's so good that it doesn't really matter. It's just equal parts of salsa and hummus. That's it. Somehow, the two parts are greater than their sum. It will be the star of your next charcuterie board, and honestly deserves its own name. Salsmus? Hummalsa? Yes please dip? Whatever it's name, it is great.
SALSA & HUMMUS DIP
Servings: 4 people
Time: 2 minutes
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of hummus (my go-to is Trader Joe's garlic hummus)
1/2 cup of salsa (spice and chunky levels are up to preference)
Veggies such as carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes, or celery (optional)
Pita or naan bread (optional)
Directions:
Combine the salsa and hummus. Mix together.
Enjoy the dip with charcuterie ingredients. Or with a spoon. You do you.
